You possess a solid foundation in JavaScript and React Native and are eager to take your skills to the next level by working on a dynamic and innovative project. Your goal is to help create a top-tier sports app that delivers an exceptional user experience to sports enthusiasts and bettors alike.

You will…

• Collaborate with senior developers to understand project requirements and contribute to the technical design and implementation of React Native mobile applications for The Action Network sports app.

• Develop, test, and maintain high-quality and performant React Native components and features, ensuring a seamless and intuitive user experience.

• Participate in code reviews, provide constructive feedback, and ensure compliance with coding standards and best practices.

• Troubleshoot and debug issues, identify and address performance bottlenecks to optimize the app's performance and stability.

• Work closely with designers to implement pixel-perfect UI/UX designs, ensuring consistency across different devices and screen sizes.

• Stay up-to-date with the latest trends and advancements in React Native development, and propose innovative ideas and technologies to enhance the app's functionality.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including product managers and QA, to gather requirements, refine user stories, and deliver high-quality solutions.

• Assist in the development of automated tests to ensure code reliability and maintainability.

• Contribute to the ongoing improvement of development processes and methodologies, promoting efficiency and innovation.

You have...

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience).

• Strong proficiency in JavaScript and hands-on experience with React Native development.

• Familiarity with mobile app development concepts, including RESTful APIs, asynchronous programming, and state management.

• Experience using version control systems, such as Git, and working in collaborative coding environments.

• Solid problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

• Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, agile environment.

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team setting.

• Enthusiasm for sports and a good understanding of sports betting concepts is a plus.

• Fluency in English and (additional language proficiency in spanish is a plus)
