You Are…

As a Marketing and Product Development Intern at Better Collective's New York City office, you will play a crucial role in conducting detailed market research and developing strategic initiatives to expand the user base for Action Network's subscription services. This internship offers a hands-on experience in analyzing industry data, competitive strategies, and consumer behavior to drive actionable insights and contribute to the growth of our subscription services. You will…

  • Conduct comprehensive market research to understand industry trends, competitive positioning, and user preferences.

  • Analyze competitors' subscription models, pricing strategies, market share, and user reviews.

  • Collect and analyze data on current users to understand demographics, usage patterns, and satisfaction levels.

  • Develop strategies for targeting new users and increasing retention among current subscribers.

  • Create marketing campaigns, promotional offers, and engagement strategies based on insights and research findings.

  • Test campaign prototypes and refine them based on feedback and performance metrics.

  • Implement full-scale marketing campaigns and monitor their performance, making real-time adjustments as needed.

  • Prepare and deliver a detailed presentation to the company’s leadership, including methodologies, key insights, strategic recommendations, and future roadmaps.

  • Work with a variety of tools and platforms, including CRM software, Google Analytics, social media analysis tools, email marketing platforms, and data visualization tools like Tableau.

Job requirements

You have…

  • High school diploma or equivalent (GED) required; college coursework in relevant areas is a plus.

  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and draw actionable insights.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Google Analytics, and other relevant software tools.

  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.

  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.

  • Eagerness to learn, take initiative, and contribute innovative ideas to the team.

  • Genuine interest in market research, strategy development, and subscription services.
